Tracking KFC calories with fitness apps How accurate is it?

So lately, I’ve been using a calorie-tracking app to manage my diet mostly MyFitnessPal, but I’ve tried others too. Everything was going fine… until I had KFC

I wanted to stay within my daily limit, so I searched for kfc kcal to try and log things accurately. That’s when I realized: the info out there isn’t always consistent. Some apps show totally different values for the same items! https://sverige-meny.se/kfc-meny-priser/

I ended up finding a more reliable breakdown on Sverige Meny it listed calories for most KFC items in a clean and simple way. It actually helped me avoid under-logging my meal (which I’d definitely been doing before).

Here are a few things I noticed while comparing:

  • Zinger burger entries in some apps showed 450 kcal, but the actual value is closer to 600+

  • Popcorn chicken can vary depending on size, but apps often just list “1 serving” with no details

  • Many people forget to log sauces but just one dip can add 100+ kcal!

If you’re someone who’s trying to balance fast food with calorie tracking, I’d recommend doing a quick check of the real kfc kcal values before logging. Apps are useful, but not always spot on.

Has anyone else had this problem with fast food and fitness apps? Do you double-check your entries, or just trust what the app shows?
